Where to find the certificate ID

As a link

Paste the whole link into the box above. The ID is picked out of it for you automatically.

As a QR code

Scanning the QR code opens the certificate directly, so there is nothing to type.

On the paperwork

Printed on the installation paperwork or handover pack. It starts with crt_.

What's in the certificate

Each certificate is a permanent page of its own. This is what one shows, including what it looks like when something has changed since it was issued.

What it contains

That a G98 notification was submitted: to which network operator, for which property, on what date and under which reference. G98 has no approval step, so a certificate is never an approval.

Application status is shown

If the network operator rejects the application, or the certificate is withdrawn, the page says so in place of the confirmation. A certificate is never quietly deleted.

No contact details

The certificate includes the first line of the address and the postcode, the network operator, the system and the reference. Never a name, email address, phone number or MPAN, and nobody can search for it by address.

Free to check

The link does not expire. Checking is free - it needs no account, no login and no payment.
